Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PR Companion (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Dima Labs Inc. (“we”, “us”, or “our”) regarding your use of the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use PR Companion. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's consent to use the App.

3. Description of Service

PR Companion is a mobile application designed to help Canadian residents:

• Calculate days of residence in Canada for citizenship eligibility
• Track their Canadian Permanent Residence application progress
• Manage important immigration documents and deadlines
• Receive guidance on Canadian immigration processes

4. Subscriptions and Payment

PR Companion offers auto-renewable subscription plans to access premium features. By subscribing, you agree to the following:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan
• You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

Subscription plans and pricing:

• Weekly subscription: billed every week, includes a free trial period after which your subscription will automatically begin unless cancelled
• Annual subscription: billed once per year

Current pricing is displayed in the App and on the App Store product page. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change. Price changes will not affect active subscription periods but will apply upon renewal.

5. Important Disclaimers

• Always consult with a qualified immigration lawyer or consultant for your specific situation
• Immigration laws and procedures change frequently - verify current requirements with official government sources
• The App's calculations are estimates and may not account for all individual circumstances
• We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information provided by the App

6. User Responsibilities

By using PR Companion, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when using the App's features
• Use the App only for lawful purposes related to Canadian immigration
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or compromise the App's security
• Not share your account credentials with others (if applicable)
• Comply with all applicable Canadian and international laws
• Verify all important information with official government sources

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The App and its contents, including but not limited to:

• Software code, algorithms, and calculations
• User interface design and graphics
• Text content, guides, and information
• Trademarks, logos, and branding

All intellectual property rights are owned by Dima Labs Inc. or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By using the App, you acknowledge that your information will be collected and used as described in our Privacy Policy. For details on how we process your data, your rights regarding your personal information, and the legal bases for processing, please refer to the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

• We do not guarantee the accuracy of immigration calculations or information
• We are not responsible for application delays or rejections
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim
• Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law

If you reside in the European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, or any other jurisdiction where statutory consumer guarantees apply, nothing in these Terms is intended to limit or exclude those guarantees or any rights that cannot be lawfully excluded. Any limitations of liability in these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by the laws of your jurisdiction.

10. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service, but cannot guarantee:

• Continuous, uninterrupted access to the App
• Error-free operation or compatibility with all devices
• Availability of specific features or content
• That the App will meet all your individual needs

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time with reasonable notice.

11. Updates and Changes

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time to:

• Reflect changes in Canadian immigration laws
• Improve App functionality and user experience
• Address security or technical issues
• Comply with legal requirements

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other appropriate means.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• You may stop using the App at any time
• We may terminate or suspend your access for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App
• Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination
• Termination does not affect any active subscription — you must separately cancel your subscription through the App Store to stop future charges

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in this section deprives you of the protection afforded by the laws of your country of residence, and you retain the right to bring proceedings in your local courts as provided by applicable law.
